Shaft seals are used in gearboxes, motors, pumps, bearings, and many other rotating applications. They consist of a flexible elastomer – usually rubber or polyurethane – and a stabilizing metal housing. The sealing lip fits snugly against the shaft and reliably prevents leaks. Variants such as single-lip, double-lip, or dust-lip seals allow for adaptation to different operating conditions.

V-rings are versatile sealing elements made of elastomer that are mounted axially on the shaft. They seal against an adjacent machine part, thus protecting bearings, shaft seals, or other sealing points from contamination and moisture – even at high speeds.
