Snap rings – also known as retaining rings, snap rings, or retaining washers – are used to secure components on shafts or in bores.
HENNLICH offers snap rings in two standardized versions according to DIN 7993:
Version A – for shafts:
These snap rings are inserted into a groove on the shaft and secure components such as bearings or gears. They are available in various diameters and, depending on the requirements, are made of spring steel 1.1200 or stainless steel 1.4310.
Version B – for bores:
This version is mounted in bores to axially fix components such as bearings or bushings. Various dimensions are available, also in spring steel or stainless steel.
Both versions are characterized by their compact, ring-shaped geometry, which enables a positive-locking connection in the groove or bore. They are easy to install and provide a durable, low-maintenance locking mechanism.
Whether for mechanical engineering, equipment manufacturing or automation technology – with snap rings from HENNLICH you can secure your components reliably and in accordance with standards.
