Conical compression springs are special compression springs with a conical shape and different outer diameters at each end. This geometry allows the spring to be almost completely compressed when needed – ideally to a height approximately equal to the diameter of a wire. This makes them particularly suitable for applications with limited installation space.
Typical applications include designs requiring high blocking resistance and good buckling resistance – for example, in safety valves, couplings, brakes, or similar safety-critical components.
HENNLICH offers conical compression springs in various materials and dimensions – tailored to the individual requirements of each application. In addition to standard versions, custom solutions are also available.
The conical compression springs listed on our website are made of spring bronze and are frequently used in battery compartments. They are characterized by good electrical conductivity and high resistance to seawater. Due to their design, they have a progressive spring characteristic, meaning that the force absorption increases with increasing compression – ideal for uniform and controlled loads.
Whether for mechanical safety elements or electronic assemblies - HENNLICH conical compression springs stand for compact design, reliable performance, and application-specific diversity.
