Tension Spring

HENNLICH offers a wide range of tension springs for diverse applications – from standard springs to custom-designed solutions. Tension springs are among the most frequently used spring types and are employed wherever tensile forces need to be absorbed, movements supported, or energy stored. They typically consist of round wire with a constant diameter and are wound cylindrically. A characteristic feature is the loop at each end for force application.

HENNLICH tension springs are manufactured according to DIN 2097, quality grade 2, with standard right-hand winding and closed loops. Other loop shapes – standard or custom – are available upon request. Custom designs based on drawings or samples can be easily implemented.

In addition to customer-specific solutions, the product range also includes standard tension springs made of spring steel 1.1200 and stainless steel 1.4310, as well as practical tension spring assemblies, e.g., for strain relief of cables or hoses.
